Short version: your progress stays on your phone. CanDo has no ads, no purchases and no account of our own. To keep the game balanced, the app counts anonymously how it is played. Duel, the leaderboard, friends and cloud saving use Google services in the EU.
On your phone
CanDo keeps your progress, stars, coins, hints and settings on your device. If Android's backup is switched on, your progress is also in your Google backup.
Anonymous usage numbers
To keep the game balanced, CanDo counts how it is played, under a random number that is not linked to your name: which levels, how long, how often you use a hint, and a few settings. No names, no location, no contacts and no free text. We use this only to improve the game, never for ads or sales. It is stored with Google (Firebase) on servers in the EU.
You can switch this off in the app: Settings › “Anonymous usage numbers”. CanDo then counts nothing more and deletes what was not sent yet.
With the face button on Home, or in About, you can send us feedback. Your name and e-mail are optional and only used to reply.
Duel, leaderboard, friends and cloud saving
Only if you use them. Then your Play Games name, rating, moves, scores and progress go to Google servers in the EU, only to make these features work. If you invite a friend to Duel, your Play Games ID, your friend's and the code go there too, only so that friend sees the invitation: only someone who knows both IDs can read it. Not for ads, not sold, not passed on to others.
What we do not do
No advertisements and no videos. No purchases. No account of our own. No location, contacts, photos or microphone.
Removing your data
Deleting the app removes everything on your device. Want your usage numbers removed? Ask in the feedback form in the app (on Home or in About). Want your Duel, leaderboard or cloud data removed? Mail [email protected].
